Ye-Lab
We’re a leading Biolab housed within the esteemed Peking University Institute of Advanced Agricultural Sciences. With a robust focus on scientific exploration, our multidisciplinary research spans vital areas such as chemical genetics, genomics and functional genomics studies, grapevine improvement, viticulture and wine making, as well as pioneering investigations into stomatal biology and beyond. We are committed to fostering the next generation of scientist and making contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by UN, including No poverty (SDG 1), Zero hunger (SDG 2), Good health and well-being (SDG 3), Quality education (SDG 4) and so on. Join us on our quest for scientific excellence and transformative impact on human society.
Weifang Key Laboratory of Grapevine Improvement and Utilization
Grapevine is the oldest domesticated fruit crop with great cultural and economic importance across the globe. Our team is dedicated to the understanding of grapevine biology and the sustainability of the grape industry for human society by
- 1) cutting-edge research on grapevine genomics and functional genomics behind important traits,
- 2) generation of new germplasms with state-of-the-art biotechnologies, and
- 3) innovation in viticulture and postharvest utilization.
Joint Lab for Plant Regulator Innovation
Stomata are microscopic pores in the plant shoot epidermis and play an important role in plant gas exchange, such as transpirational water loss and CO2 uptake for photosynthesis, and warding off pathogens. A major goal of our research is to elucidate the mechanism behind stomatal responses to environmental cues and develop transformative molecules to manipulate stomata for improving crop performance, thus contributing to agricultural sustainability.
